This paper is about some legal issues in business. The first question is about the Securities Act of 1933, and what actually constitutes a share issue. The second is about the AT & T proposed merger with T – Mobile, and the Herfindahl – Hirschmann Index (HHI) and my views of the merger issue.

The purpose of this article is to critique the book "Backlash 9/11: Middle Easterners and Muslim Americans Respond" by Anny Bakalian and Mehdi Bozorgmehr. The discussion begins with a review of the book and a highlight of the major concepts and issues discussed in the book. This is followed by a demonstration of why the book undermines the severity of the backlash and uses an ineffective research methodology.

Everything is subject to change, whether big and small. This includes organizations, which must promptly and adequately adjust to ever-changing environments all the time. This paper discusses the two types of change, the manager's role in introducing and discussing the need to change, the tools and strategies to use for effective change to occur, why employees fear change, how the manager can manage their resistance,and the steps to take in managing the change process.

The question as to what happens after death is not fathomable within human reason. As such, it remains one of the biggest mysteries of life. The belief in life after death is what keeps the hopes of the human race intact even in the face of the tragedy of death. The concept ‘afterlife' appears absurd in light of rational thought yet strangely familiar. Since time immemorial, numerous theories and beliefs have emerged in bid to work out this disarray. As for Christians, there is a mainstream belief that revolves around Heaven and Hell for rewarding righteousness and punishing evil respectively. In Hinduism, the belief is that upon death, the human soul deserts the body and reincarnates in a different form based on ‘actions and consequences.' In Ancient Greek religion, there was a wide range of beliefs. As it appertains to this study, Ancient Greeks believed in life after death where the soul departed the body and moved into the Underworld. One of these beliefs was in life after death in an alternate universe where souls went for the afterlife. They held on to the faith that death merely marked the end of human life or human and not the existence of the soul. While the Ancient Greeks believed in the existence of the soul after death, they saw the afterlife as one that lacked purpose; according to them, life after death was meaningless.

There are two different voices of the author present in this memoir which happens to be entitled, significantly enough, With the Old Breed. The first is that of a young soldier, not yet acclimated with the old and what it breeds in the military sense of the word. The second is the wiser, the wizened author who can contextualize the old and what it breeds.

The research clarifies on the determinants of investment environment comprehensive improvement include government expenditure, real interest rate, changes in credit to the private investors, and foreign direct investment. The level of investment in a country can be necessary for determining the economic growth in the country. The capital can be through financial assistance, or in the form of technological resources. Investments in infrastructure in the telecommunication sector attract most of the foreign direct investments in the developing nations. Foreign direct investments are not strictly financial in nature. Foreign direct investments can be in the form of technology. Long-term success of a country relies on a thriving private sector of that country. This body ought to be a facilitator for private investments rather than a bureaucracy, which investors have to overcome. An investment promotion agency is a body that aims at encouraging private investors to make investments in a country. Developing countries have given priorities to investment in state-of-art-equipment as well as new form of technology at hospitals among other health facilities. Enhancing trade liberalization policies and demand augmenting, infrastructural improvements and maintenance of political and macroeconomic stabilities as will be addressed in the research are major ingredients of policy packages, which help in promoting private investments in Iran. One of the factors that determine the extent to which private investment will be able to contribute to a country will depend on various factors including the success of policy measures that the developing countries are planning to adopt.

This order explores the intense racial hatred that fed into World War II. The Japanese and the Americans painted a racial stereotype of each other. This then fueled a growing resentment and desire to exterminate the other group, eventually leading to a war without mercy. Great atrocities and even a denial of Constitutional rights through Executive Order No. 9066 were thus allowed to make the war much more difficult and hostile.

This paper is about What is Morgan's main ideas that led to the Revolution War from the book "The Birth of the Republic 1736-89 third ed. author: Edmund s Morgan. Morgan in the first part of the book examined the relationship between the 13 US colonies and British Parliament. He emphasized primarily on the unjust taxation that was imposed on the colonies by the English and other violations of liberties committed by British Parliament. In fact, Sugar and Stamp Acts of 1764-1765 turned out to be a great shock to the colonists, that declared that in future additional taxes will be taken from the colonists. 1 In its reaction, the colonists put a demand that they need their direct representation in the British Parliament.

The Trauma Symptom Inventory (TSI) was created by Briere, J. in 1995, and appears in the "Trauma Symptom Inventory Professional Manual." The test is also featured in "Psychological Assessment Resources, Briere, et al., (1995). The TSI test under assessment in this review is designed for individuals of age 18 and above. The TSI was designed by Briere to assess chronic and acute traumatic symptomatology in adults. The total score of the test is in a measure that represents the effect of traumatic experiences, which can also be decomposed into three reliability scales and ten clinical subscales.
