This is a four page ethnography report, based on seven weeks of field observations at two different gyms. The field observations reveal different attitudes toward steroid use, working out, and socializing. Generally, women did not approve of steroid use even though many young women worked out for appearance as well as health. Older people went to the gym for social and health reasons.

The paper analyzes the Vatican II Church Council that took place between the 1962 and 1965 to demonstrate the willingness and hope of the church in her continued service to the world. The paper examines the reason for the council and why heresy was a great threat to the church. In addition to exploring why the church felt its need for a council, the article examines her response and the significance of the response.

The study examines how the al-Assad family, members of a religious minority, came to power in Syria, and what that has meant for the Syrian people. To this end, this study examines how the Alawi sect came to power in Syria from a historiographic and religious studies perspective, and what the implications of the Arab Spring uprisings might be for the ruling elite in Syria. A summary of the research and important findings are presented in the study's conclusion.

In this paper, the issue is using mobile technology (specifically text messaging) to promote health care. Patients were asked to complete a survey and then provide a mobile phone number so they could get text messages about health related issues that are important to them. Three American Poets – The Strangeness of Nature Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening – Robert Frost Robert Frost's poem – an iconic and very well known poem – can be misunderstood, and is misunderstood in many instances. This is because there is a seeming innocence about the poem. What could be confusing about a poem that seems so tranquil and so linked to the natural world in wintertime? A careful examination of the second stanza can discover there is more meaning than immediately meets the eye, however. "My little horse must think it queer / To stop without a farmhouse near / Between the woods and frozen lake / The darkest evening of the year." The poet stops on the "…darkest evening of the year" to watch the woods "fill up with snow," and according to John T. Ogilvie's scholarship, the poet is caught between two worlds, the world of quiet nature and solitude, and the world of "…people and social obligations" (Ogilvie, 1959). Does the lure of his social responsibility have more power than his attraction to the woods? Ironically the world of the woods and snow may be the poet's escape from the village and the society, but a man owns these woods so he isn't really escaping at all.
