The word Hamas is derived from an Arabic phrase, which means Islamic Resistance Movement. Hamas is the largest Palestinian political party that rules over the Gaza and is launched by the Palestinian Sunni Islamists. Presently, Khaled Mashaal is the chief head and Ismail Haniyah is the prime minister of Hamas. The headquarters are found at Gaza and in Palestinian territories (Matthew Levitt, 2006). The story begins with the killing of several Palestinians in a traffic accident done by an Israeli driver and stimulated Sheikh Ahmed Yassin (who was also the head of Muslim Brotherhood) and some others to start a "Muslim brotherhood movement" that made its way towards the creation of Hamas in 1987 (Matthew Levitt, 2006).

How would you feel if someone came in your home, took over and kicked you out? Surely, no one would like that feeling. Worse than that, that certain someone found it morally acceptable to be doing such an act and everyone was supporting him. The aforementioned scenario is the simplest version of the state that Palestinians are in today. Their situation is present on a larger and much more gruesome and violent scale. The best solution to this conflict is that justice should be done with Palestine. The history, current problems and possible solution will be discussed below.

Jordan is one of the primary prtners the US has among nations in the Middle East. It is important that the US continue to work with Jordan to make sure that these relations are not strained due to the importance of this relationship. The US has seen problems with its intelligence services and economy because of the problems excperienced by Jordan and others during protests related to the Arab Spring uprisings, and they need to make sure that these bonds remain strong.

The United States military has amongst its missions the ongoing process of making sure that field-grade officers and personnel are ready to assume their required roles and tasks to a satisfactory level when they are thrust into the field rather than coming up short of expectations or failing the mission altogether. This has not happened on a wide scale before but it could if the SAMS tasks are not done diligently.

Often when people think of the word "Hamas," it becomes intrinsically linked with Islamic and Muslim peoples. This is highly unfair. Hamas is actually a very limited population of Palestinian and Islamic extremists.
