The coming of the Internet has shaped the way business undertake their operations. The effect of the internet on marketing was felt a few years ago when Facebook and Twitter were some of the coveted websites where people spent most of their time interacting with their friends. This study focuses on how some companies like Samsung, PepsiCo, and Nike have used Facebook, Twitter, and Skype in promoting their products and interacting with their clients. Evidently, any company that ignores the social media will perform terribly in the market.
