I will be attending university in the Fall Semester 2015 and will be studying Wildlife Management. My goal is to attain a degree in Wildlife Management and to operate a show goat breeding operation upon graduation.
My previous education includes coursework in Veterinary Medical Applications, Agricultural Facilities Design and Fabrication, Agricultural Mechanics and Metal Technologies, and Principles of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. Beyond classroom learning, I have gained applied experience through seven goat ownership projects conducted between 2011 and 2014, providing hands-on understanding of livestock management and breeding practices essential to my future career.
My FFA involvement demonstrates sustained commitment to agricultural education and leadership development. In 2014, I served as Chapter President for FFA, and in 2013, I held the position of Chapter Vice President. My competition participation includes engagement in Area FFA Competitions in 2014, Chapter FFA Competitions in 2014, five Invitational FFA Competitions in 2014, and four District FFA Competitions between 2011 and 2013. This breadth of FFA participation reflects both my dedication to personal growth and my desire to represent my chapter at multiple levels.
I am committed to serving my community through multiple avenues. My community service involvement includes participation in the Home and Garden Show in 2014, the Angel Tree initiative and Optimist Club Haunted House in 2013, and Spook and Spoke in 2012. As a member of Grace Church, I have contributed to my community through various volunteer projects. Additionally, I am a member of a cycling team, which reflects my commitment to personal health and community connection.
My accomplishments include successful showing at the 2014 Fort Worth Livestock Show, where I earned 2nd Place in Class 4 Market Goat, along with other successful showings throughout my years of participation in livestock competitions. In 2014, I was awarded the Benny Clark Leadership and Service Award, recognizing my contributions to leadership and community engagement. These achievements reflect my goal-oriented and committed approach to both educational pursuits and personal development.
