Thus, there is certainly room for me to improve in my overall knowledge of the American Psychological Association and its stylistic guidelines for communicating with others. One of the most significant points of insight for me after taking this quiz is that I can certainly improve my knowledge of the citation style for this writing system. There are so many different sources that one can utilize while writing research papers. Quite simply, I am not as fluent in the style required to cite these different sources as I could be. Another insight that I gained from this quiz is that there is actually an extremely fine distinction between plagiarizing and citing sources. Traditionally, I believed that plagiarism resulted in a conscious desire on the part of an individual to not write his or her own material, and to simply copy the works of another.
