Nurse Practitioner And Healthcare Research Paper

Personal Mission Statement For the last several decades, I have dedicated myself to the healthcare profession. In fact, I have worked in some of the most challenging healthcare environments including intensive care and emergency wards. Therefore, my role position statement as a nurse practitioner is as follows. I intend to maximize my potential as an emergency care nurse capable of improving healthcare standards in any institution of any size.

My tentative plan for contract negotiation begins with my having 23 years of experience, both as an LPN and RN. I have worked in diverse healthcare settings primarily in the southwestern United States, have strong cultural sensitivity, and work in leadership positions because of my tenure and seniority. As I negotiate contracts, I intend to retain a position of leadership because this is where my talents shine. Because of my ability to work in high stress situations, I can manage a junior team of nurses and healthcare colleagues to make sure that we are all on the same page to provide optimal quality of care and continuity of services for patients as they move from the emergency room to their next care venue.

The functions and responsibilities of the nurse practitioner include cultural and professional competency. As I continue to improve my competency through ongoing learning and training, I am confident in my ability to deliver evidence-based practice in primary care settings. I function as a team leader as well as an advocate for patients.

As a registered nurse, I...

I work exceptionally well in a healthcare team environment to advocate on behalf of all patients while keeping in mind the needs of the organization.
Cover Letter to Potential Future Employer

Dear --- --

My colleague at the Health Care Center told me that you have an opening for a Registered Nurse in the emergency room setting. As a nurse with over two decades of hands-on experience, my colleague urged me to apply for this position because of my unique and specialized background in emergency care. You will soon find that I am an indispensible part of your healthcare team because of my ability to organize staff with the goal of delivering optimal patient care and improving all measurable patient outcomes.

Although my resume speaks for itself and there is no need to reiterate the details of the positions I have held as both RN and LPN, I would like to point out that my leadership skills are what makes me a valuable employee. I have received formal accolades and awards from both patients and colleagues, who recognize my contribution to the healthcare profession. The emergency setting is not for everyone; many nurses lack the ability to…
