This reflection paper examines global warming as a pressing environmental issue, exploring how climate change contributes to increasingly severe and unpredictable weather patterns, including hurricanes and tornadoes. The paper emphasizes the urgency of addressing environmental damage before its effects become irreversible, particularly for future generations. Drawing on video resources, it highlights that while significant harm has already been sustained, coordinated collective action can still reverse the damage. The author argues that global warming must be treated as a shared priority if humanity hopes to preserve a livable planet for its children and grandchildren.
Environmental issues have been a topic of much debate lately. With drastic weather changes and an increasingly uncontrollable climate, global warming has received much deserved attention. Despite warnings about the potential damage that global warming can cause to the Earth, the issue was long overlooked. However, now that there is substantial proof and numerous events have occurred as a direct result of global warming, the topic is beginning to be taken more seriously.
Among the many environmental problems that deserve attention, global warming is the one that weighs most heavily. It is worrisome to consider the effects that global warming will have on the future of our planet. Although it can be difficult to think that far ahead, the consequences that future generations will feel are real. According to both of the videos viewed, it is never too late to act on behalf of the planet. The damage sustained so far can be repaired if everyone makes it a priority to do so.
