Company\'s Accounting Department Is Currently

¶ … company's Accounting department is currently using a software that helps them record financial information and other accounting-related transactions. The software has been around in the company for some years now. With new developments that have emerged in technology, the current accounting software that our company uses seems to be out-of-date these days.

The Accounting software of our company was recently assessed by the Information Technology Department. Comparing the software with the latest accounting software that are out in the market, the it department rated our accounting software to be of poor performance, capability, and reliability. They found that the company's current accounting software only provides basic automations. Parallel to the latest accounting softwares, the company's software can perform only 30% of what the new accounting softwares can do. Therefore, because of the outdated features and capabilities of the company's present software, the Information Technology Department suggests to purchase one of the latest accounting software in the market these days. By doing so, the Accounting department will be able to more conveniently record financially-related transactions of the company, and do more tracking methods of the company's financial status.

From the Information Technology department's suggestion, our company now needs to purchase a new accounting software. This move will allow the Accounting department to properly and accurately manage financial tasks. The company has already evaluated a few new softwares and has already selected the best that will fit the Accounting department's process. However, there is one more step that needs to be done along with the installation of the new software. That is, to upgrade the operating system of the Accounting department from Windows 2000 into Windows XP.
