The need for a dance studio can be observed in the increasing number of individuals that go to dancing clubs, that want to learn how to dance, or that post videos with them dancing on online networks. The studio addresses customer of all ages because it provides dancing lessons for various styles.

The mission statement of Step Up is to provide a nice atmosphere place where people can enjoy high quality dancing lessons, while meeting other people, enjoying themselves, and relaxing after hard work days. The varied dance program and price range makes this an affordable place and provides customers with what they require.

The most important objectives that the dance studio intends to reach are represented by attracting a number of 35 customers each month, providing social entertainment activities for the locals than can help the dance studio expand its business to other activities also, providing dancing training for customers of all levels of dance, age, and preferred dancing styles, increase the salaries of employees each 6 months, increase sales in order to make significant investments in developing the activity of the dance studio.

The dance studio provides several types of services. These services include private lessons, group classes, practice dances, facility rentals, and others. The different types of services are intended to reach the different needs are preferences of several customer segments targeted by the dance studio. In addition to this, the dance studio managers intend to organize specialty dancing and demonstrations to schools, nursing homes, and other interested customers. The trainers in the dance studio can help organize private programs that also involve dancing lessons.

There is increased competition on the dancing training market. This is because there are numerous studios and companies that provide different types of dancing lessons. The most important customer segments targeted by Step Up are represented by children and teens under 19 years of age, adults aged between 25 and 55 years, and seniors of 56+ years of age. It is important to also address younger customer segments. This is intended to help the dance studio develop a loyal customers base that the company can count on when promoting its services. I addition to this, the dance studio can train the talented course applicants into becoming fdance trainers themselves if this is something they want. There are also niche customer segments represented by individuals that occasionally require dancing lessons for certain situations.

Product Strategy

Most companies are aware of the fact that the product they provide represents the basis of the marketing strategy. This is also the case of Step Up. The dance studio understands that in order to become successful on this market it is important to provide high quality services that provide something extra in comparison with the products that are provided by the competition. Therefore, Step Up provides dancing lessons from experienced trainers that have won several competitions in the dancing activity. These trainers are able to easily adapt their style to the requirements of the customers (Stahl, 2011). In other words, they are not limited to providing traditional lessons. If customers required that certain dancing styles are combined with others, the dancing trainers can satisfy this need.

Pricing Strategy

The price level is of great importance in determining the company's success on the market. The managers of Step Up understand that in order to benefit from increased profits it is important to have higher prices for some of their services. But providing higher priced services means to limit the targeted customer segments of Step Up. Therefore, it is important to also provide types of classes with reduced prices that can address a higher number of customers. In addition to this, customers can be attracted by special offers. The dance studio can provide every 6th lesson for free.

Distribution Strategy

The dancing lessons developed by Step Up are provided in the studio, at the headquarters of different organizations that require specialized programs, or in customers' houses in the case of private lessons and if the spacing allows it.
