Utsa Personal Statement It Is With Great Essay

UTSA Personal Statement It is with great pleasure that I prepare this personal statement as part of my application to the University of Texas at San Antonio. As a recognized leader in business educational programs, UTSA represents what I like best about the possibilities of international business management: the chance to use quality and practical business applications in the growing world of global business opportunities.

I had the chance as a young person to live in two different cultures, Indonesia and Australia. Being in those countries gave me the chance to appreciate and understand more about how different people of the world see their situations. While I was very young when I lived in these locations, my family values and other travels have given me the chance to learn more about and respect the kinds of differences I feel influenced by. As such, I want to make sure that my educational goals for the future continue this awareness and allow me to work in locations that may be very different from each other.

Before discussing my future, I would like to say that I was very pleased to see that UTSA's MBA program has once again been recognized in the Southwest Bloomberg BusinessWeek rankings (as it has been for its Hispanic business programs). I was very pleased to see that the issue of academic quality helped UTSA gain this recognition, and that it was the opinions of MBA students who reflected their confidence in this. I am very interested in going to a school...

It is also extremely important that academic studies be tied to realistic professional and business outcomes. This is exactly what I am looking for in my graduate school experience.
The goals that I have in mind are general at this time. This is because I want to leave myself open to many possible options. But this does not mean that I do not have a sense of direction for what I would like to do. I very much do. Before I list my goals, however, I just want to say a little more about my travel experiences and how this perspective relates to my future.

There is no question but that Australia and Indonesia are extremely opposite types of countries. Australia today is very westernized and a fully developed country. I have noticed how it is interested in becoming a nation that is more involved in the creative and very innovative promises of high technology for global involvement. Their culture favors a sense of teamwork and togetherness, and yet respects people who are strong and committed to what they believe in. I like this kind of environment because I believe it inspires innovation while respecting accomplishment.

On the other hand, Indonesia is a diverse and developing Asian/Pacific Islander nation. But it is much different. In many ways it is more closed, even though it wants to be more engaged with the world…

I like facing new challenges and being involved with decision-making situations. More important, I wished to become involved in a field of healthcare that could help people in a natural way. Too often, traditional medical doctors quickly give their patients medicine prescriptions to cure their problems. Many do not look at the larger overall picture, only one piece of the puzzle. Helping a patient in a holistic manner is essential

As Africans had been brought into the U.S. they had been deprived by their traditions, being forced to integrate in the larger, more complex community. However, as time passed, black traditions
