UTSA Personal Statement
It is with great pleasure that I prepare this personal statement as part of my application to the University of Texas at San Antonio. As a recognized leader in business educational programs, UTSA represents what I like best about the possibilities of international business management: the chance to use quality and practical business applications in the growing world of global business opportunities.
I had the chance as a young person to live in two different cultures, Indonesia and Australia. Being in those countries gave me the chance to appreciate and understand more about how different people of the world see their situations. While I was very young when I lived in these locations, my family values and other travels have given me the chance to learn more about and respect the kinds of differences I feel influenced by. As such, I want to make sure that my educational goals for the future continue this awareness and allow me to work in locations that may be very different from each other.
Before discussing my future, I would like to say that I was very pleased to see that UTSA's MBA program has once again been recognized in the Southwest Bloomberg BusinessWeek rankings (as it has been for its Hispanic business programs). I was very pleased to see that the issue of academic quality helped UTSA gain this recognition, and that it was the opinions of MBA students who reflected their confidence in this. I am very interested in going to a school...

Helping a patient in a holistic manner is essential

Although she was in at least two of my classes each semester since I started at UTSA, I think that maybe Ann felt a little intimidated by me. Ann is an all-American college student, a woman from a small town Kentucky who had never left the greater forty-eight. The farthest

In spite of the slave owners and traders' efforts to break them completely from their culture, during their first years on American land, the blacks managed to keep most of their traditions. However, as time passed, black traditions
