To followup with the student graduates of the Cincinati United's participant group and make sure that they continue on in the program and are able to continue their education via the program scholarships.

Action 1: Actively contact the applicants and see which programs they have chosen for their college educations. Provide counseling for the students to make sure they achieve the goals that they stated in their applications in their college educations. If they have not attained their goals, the organization should provide counseling support until the objective is met.

Objective 1 will be achieved when the top ten scoring players who accept soccer scholarships get accepted at regional colleges and universities to be students, as described by ScoringSoccer.com (ScoringSystem, Inc. 2002-2011). Measure what the financial impact of the scholarship program has been on player retention in the program and how this continues to affect program marketability.

Objective 2: Followup on the community service commitments that the senior players have made to mentor the younger players at the recreational camps and seminars.

Action 2: It was expected in Module 2 that there would be a considerable savings on personnel costs to the program when senior player volunteers were mentoring the younger players in their training and progress in the program. The monitoring needs to be ongoing to ensure compliance.

Measurement: Measure the overhead savings that the volunteer program of mentoring younger players has saved Cincinnati United by checking the accounting records before and after the institution of the policy to see if the policy should be continued or not.

Module 4

Objective 1: Followup on the development of relationships with other junior league soccer teams in the Cincinnati area. The program committed to providing free coaching education support that is unmatched in our region. Followup will make sure that good will has been generated and that this has translated into good will for the program and further marketability (Recreational Outreach, 2008).

Action 1: Do a survey of how much good publicity that the program has received from the local press since the inception of the program. Is this more or less effective for publicizing the program that standard advertising?

Measurement: Is less money being spent on publicity for the soccer program now that the free coaching is happening due to positive word of mouth publicity? Measure the cost-effectiveness of word-of-mouth publicity or publicity from friendly press releases about the program and its positive impact upon the Cincinnati community.

Objective 2: Followup and see what the players are doing after college. Have they achieved good jobs and salaries? I

Action 2: Do a survey of workers who are now out of the program. What do they say about their experiences in the program. Do they attribute their success to their participation in the Cincinnati United Soccer program or to some other influence?
