Tactical intelligence involves the ability to determine the actions of the opposition in terms of the mission to be accomplished. The opposition might, for example, take action to prevent the mission from being accomplished, or neglect certain actions for the same purpose. Tactical intelligence reveals or anticipates these actions, which then enables the leaders of the mission to take appropriate measures to promote the mission in question. In the military, tactical intelligence means that operatives analyze the data available and make the best possible decisions based upon the information that arrives. It is important to recognize that the effectiveness of such decision making is much enhanced by means of practical field experience. This is also an important component of training and communication. While doctoral documents are certainly important in terms of divulging the theoretical basis of operations, the dramatic communication of narratives such as OPERATION VERBAL IMAGE demonstrates in a very practical way the importance of flexibility in tactical operations. One element that is apparent in the dramatic narrative, as opposed to the doctoral document, is the dichotomy between immediate environment and distant command center. The narrative is striking for its ability to provide a more immediate vision of the challenges that leaders and soldiers face in the field, which are not immediately apparent to the tactical operations center. In the narrative, there are several examples of this. The platoon on the ground, for example, is faced with environmental obstacles such as undergrowth and bushes, while the command center only has a map of the environment. Hence, a different tactical...
Also, enemy movement is unpredictable, as demonstrated by Knutzen's observation from the helicopter. The technology was unable to divulge the data, but those in the immediate environment were able to observe it in a practical and immediate way. Often, these concerns require decision-making that is beyond or against the accepted protocol. The practical and critical reasoning behind such decisions are is more apparent in the dramatic narrative than the doctoral document.S. directly. Evidently, the long-term objectives indirectly face the smooth running of the U.S. government. Priority should be given to those aspects that will pull the resources of the country to extreme levels. The U.S. As a super-power is privileged when tackling issues affecting other nations; it is mandated to help developing long-term solutions. Long-term also implies that the impacts and effects need to be widespread in order to maintain balance
If the cost values satisfy the symmetry, such that for any I and j ? V, cij = cji, then the problem is said to be symmetric VRP, else, it is called an asymmetric VRP. In several practical cases the cost matrix satisfies the triangle inequality, such that cik + ckj ? cij for any i, j, k ? V." (Toth and Vigo, 1998, cited in Vural (2003). Vural (2003)
Using Intelligence and Surveillance at Border Control Part One 1. Summary The Hells Angels are a sizeable and hierarchically organized criminal outfit with chapters throughout Canada. Terrorist Attack Efforts made to identify a terrorist group and techniques used to prevent an attack Crime incidences and terrorist attacks have been on the rise in many parts of Georgia State. Police have tried to conduct investigations and patrol in the area, but minimal or no justifiable results are available to explain the situation. The situation called for the intelligence department of police to conduct surveillance and come up with a
According to the authors, this can be done if employees are given a sense of importance in the organizations. Knowledge workers are already short in supplies and most competing rivals also compete to get the best human resource in terms of knowledge workers. It is therefore essential for any organization to retain this highly skilled part of their workforce and in order to do that organizations must eliminate the
This is coupled by the high unemployment rate and the current recession in the private industry. This means that jobs in the Criminal Intelligence Bureau will still be attractive. This leads to an increase in quality recruitment (Tita, Troshynski & Graves, 2007). Threats: terrorism has become a permanent and global disaster. This has taken a huge chunk of quality human resource within the Criminal Intelligence Bureau. The organizational strategy The Criminal Intelligence
