That changes your view of yourself and also influences the way people interact with you. They want to listen to you; they like being in your company and you are invited to almost all the best parties around. It was a superb life and one that I was enjoying beyond belief. I no longer cared about the various coupons you could find in newspapers because I could afford almost everything. I almost had half of my money invested in stocks. And with all this money, I now started thinking more about investing in my education. I had barely gone beyond high school and even my high school education was nothing to write home about. A got myself enrolled in one of the best colleges and began thinking about a career in advertising. I realized just how many opportunities you could have with money at your disposal. My life had not only changed in terms of clothing and food, it had also changed the way I viewed my future and myself. It changed the way I connected with others and changed the group of people I could now relate to.

The confidence that comes with money also affects your personal life. With the types of bars I was visiting and the type of people I met...

But the best thing about it all was that since I had seen some tough times, I was more sensible about money than some of the other students I met at the campus. Even those who lived in my area had some major problems with drugs and alcohol. I had more sense and thus stayed away from those things because in my days of poverty, I had learned that you must always value money. The money I had received, I knew I couldn't afford to spend it on useless things because I simply could never allow myself to slip back into poverty. Education had also become a major thing because not only I wanted a career but also found that when you mingled with rich people, your education and place of education actually mattered a lot.
Thus money actually makes a person buy better social class. It is all that really matters. Once you get into that class with your money, the other things automatically follow suit such as good education, stable career and everything else that comes with them. I found that money was indeed the key and that was the only key you needed to enter higher social class.
