Hence parents should encourage their children to frankly discuss such issues with them lest they should be inclined to gather information from other less reliable sources. Teachers can also play a vital role in educating these children to be more receptive of the changes they are going through. At this stage their guidance can help decide the way a child may react to the sexual issues arising later in life. Primary sex education needs to be included in the syllabus of various schools so that children might learn to develop a healthy sexual drive and realize the dangers of indulging in sexual activities before the correct time.
Adults may have a totally different set of problems to address in their sex lives. In this case it is essential that the physician be able to communicate well with the patient and not use medical terms that could confuse him. Sexuality is a delicate balance of emotional and physical well being hence sexual health should be focused on as much as other health issues pertaining to the physical, spiritual and mental development of a human being. As I showed above it can provide necessary clues in the identification of a particular illness and contribute towards the overall happiness, contentment and longevity of the people involved.
