For me, nursing is more than a goal, it is a purpose. With the training I hope to receive from Oakland University, I will make my dream of becoming a nurse a reality and, should I be deployed in the future, I will not have to witness another desperate soldier and lack the ability to offer tangible help. My purpose is to help others by channeling my passions into a profession I know my skills will complement, and allow to me thrive as a nursing student and hopeful graduate of Oakland University.
