When the tests are detailed yet afford some flexibility in the answers, I often find aptitude tests quite revealing and useful. With respect to my Reasoning Aptitude Results, I have a similar sentiment: these results where revealing, useful, and articulate aspects of myself that both I knew, and were a surprise to me.

Concerning my individual thinking style, it is apparent that I am a proactive thinker. I am thinking ahead. I have the ability to receive and interpret instructions and think about the entire process of a task. I am a person that troubleshoots. I look for aspects of the task or process that might give me trouble, or might present trouble for my group, and other scenarios. I am not afraid to approach or duly challenge authority figures with respect to the work. I liked the aspect of my results that states that I do not unduly challenge authority. To me this meant, I respect authority figures, but when there are those occasional or rare moments when authority should be challenged, I am the type of person that is not afraid to step up to the plate, and ask a question or make a comment...

I already mentioned how I have the capacity to think ahead, but according to the results, I also demonstrate the ability to think about a situation, task, or service from the perspective of many people. I can consider a service from the perspective of the customer, which would at least partially explain why I scored well with regard to customer service. I obviously have the ability to consider a situation from the perspective of the employee or worker, and I have the ability to see a situation from the perspective of an authority figure. This gives me some solace in that when I have a question or perform a task, there is considerable thought that goes into what I am doing. This gives me confidence in my professional future because these are skills that are marketable and profitable. Strong businesses, companies, and organizations often value these types of traits and the ability to see a situation from various perspectives.
