Like TQM, ISO 9000 provides a comprehensive management technique that is not limited to operational processes and operational management. The ISO 9000 approach is designed to improve all of the areas addresses by TQM and also allows processes and operations that benefit from technical standardization to be analyzed and improved for efficiency and maximum productivity wherever operational standardization and optimization are conducive to organizational success (Robbins & Judge, 2009).
