This section is typically a detailed amplification of the SOW product description from the Project Charter. What will the product of the project look like or what should it be able to do when completed?
Island Spa will accommodate the growing demand for upscale services in stress management and will offer the personal care, grooming, and hygiene services to professionals living in the target area. Island Spa will offer standard spa services such as massages, facials, manicures, and pedicures, as well as tanning services. When Island Spa is completed, it should be able to provide a complete spa experience for its visitors, providing all non-hair upscale personal care services.
Project Deliverables
What are the tangible outputs or services of this project? What big-picture items will have to be created or performed in order to accomplish the statement of work? These are the deliverables to be found in the WBS.
The deliverables for this project are two-tiered. First, the project must find a suitable space for the spa, outfit the spa for services, employ personnel, and market the services to the community in order to be able to provide services to potential customers. Second, the spa must deliver these services to its customers in a stress-free environment, which involves punctuality, professionalism, and high-quality pampering services that focus on individual desires without impacting service quality for the other customers.
