Finally, according to utilitarianism, if something is wrong for majority of the people, it should be a rule. For example, if an illegal abortion or any other medical procedure takes place in a back alley, abortion should be legal for the sake of the people who live in this world. Utilitarianism is about keeping the universe happy and safe, which indicates abortion should be allowed. If it is not legal, it will take place regardless but in this sense, it would be a threat to the human race. Utilitarianism wants the majority to be happy and making abortion legal will make people because they will have a safe environment to do what is best for them.
