Communication by Nurses in the ICU What are the concepts of the study addressed in the Literature Review?

In this article, there are no discussions made on the previous studies that were conducted on the research concepts. Moreover, it does not have a literature review section. Recorded information on the document relates to what two nurses reported especially when working as translators and this showed they were able to communicate more or less in particular areas. The other report came from a nurse who focuses on the errors that come with the patient's inability to communicate with their families concerning their pertinent health issues. The interviews conducted showed precision because the participants answered questions that were aligned to their profession. They also had examples that show the validity aspect of research with regard to data collection. Furthermore, the study is feasible because the information obtained using interviews come from the nurses who are the first affected by the communication problems that exist in the ICU. As such, further research should be conducted to show how other organizations have managed to improve the communication between their health practitioners, patients, and their families. Within the article, 51 sources were used to provide literature of the problem under review. Of these sources, 48 are journal articles, which are the primary sources of data while two are secondary sources in the form of books. The difference between secondary and primary data is that primary data forms the basic and original content that provides a researcher with raw evidence. Thus, it can provide information that can be used in solving problems alongside facilitating the realization of the study objectives. Secondary data, on the other hand, are the sources that discuss studied period but later are brought into being at some point after and the information provided are somewhat removed from actual events. Therefore, they seem to be less capable of solving problems, which imply that they may be less suitable when it comes to achieving objectives of the study.
