The author included a discussion of wide-reaching effects on the health conditions of the future and current generations around the globe. The author clearly illustrated the health-oriented significance of poverty and worked closely with various organizations and professionals to address poverty.

Drawing from the importance of these early years, the author must reveal the possibility of providing the best for children in their early years. The article gives ample proof that family income is a critical determinant of health and growth. I would propose two related mechanisms to explain the pathways between health in later life and family influence. The first mechanism argues that adult health is shaped by the relationship between socioeconomic status in adulthood and childhood. According to the second approach, socioeconomic conditions in early life shape the health and development of children. This relates to how children from their behaviors thus laying the foundation for their socioeconomic position and health in adulthood.
The article presents two strategies to address the effects of poverty. First, poverty can be reduced through advocating for healthy public practices and policies.
