Plastic In The United States Thesis

" (Ware, 35) The PHB is a high weight polymer that is used for energy storage and carbon storage by a large number of microorganisms. PHB is synthesized and degraded by a lot of organisms and is said to be the most economic alternative to petrochemical plastics. The commercial production of PHB is on and in the brand name Bipol. The attractive feature is that the polymer degrades into carbon dioxide and water without harmful residues. PHAs are biosynthesized polyesters and are thermoplastics thus can be melted and molded and ideal for consumer products. There are over ninety varieties of hydroxyalkanotic acids that are the constituent of the monomer constituents of biosynthetic PHA. (Ware, 35) Conclusion

Plastic waste is a problem of great magnitude. Recycling the waste is found to be the better solution. In the actual consideration we have to divide the plastic waste into many categories and decide the best method of disposing the waste. Thus domestic waste, industrial waste, marine waste all require more than one method of disposal. Since many methods other than recycling have been developed there must be a coordinated method of using all these methods simultaneously in segregating and disposing plastic waste or reusing it again. Thus the hypothesis that the various methods of disposal and recycling must be attempted simultaneously for different products in such a way that plastic materials classified as a separate type of waste, are processed from the waste and this process could end in recycled material, destruction or bio destruction as needed. For example plastics that are biodegradable are good for land fills. Thus segregating them for this purpose would be one method that is illustrative of the hypothesis.

The most popular method is recycling of waste. There are unsolved problems with regard to recycling which include the problem of...

Recycling is globally accepted to be the soundest method of eliminating plastic waste. On account of economic and technical problems and the cost of operations, other methods of elimination of waste plastic have also to be implemented simultaneously. In finding the various methods and the advantages of each of them, it is observed that all the methods have their uses and specific environs in which they are applicable. Removal of the use of plastic being unviable in the near future, and since only recycling is not a complete solution, the problem requires multiple approaches, that is the ways and means of first grouping products that are amenable to a particular type of treatment, Ultra Violet, biodegradable etc., and then sorting the waste to send the appropriate waste to the appropriate method. There are many areas that we have not explored like the use of plastic material after they are broken down to compounds as pesticides, fertilizers and other commercial uses. By creating commercial use for recycled plastic, plastic breakdown derivatives we could motivate industries to spring up which will find recycling plastic a profitable venture. That is the most attractive method- making plastic disposal a profitable industry.

Work Values Cross-cultural comparison on work value between U.S. And China A value is "what a person consciously or subconsciously desires, wants, or seeks to attain" (Locke, 1983). Peterson and Gonzalez (2005) say values "are motivational forces," and "influence the role work plays in people's lives." The defects will be the concern of the local manufacturer and not that of the business. This, again, will mean savings on waste, labor and shipping. As a desirable consequence, outsourcing will boost the host country's economic condition by providing affordable products to the citizens. This enhances consumer spending (Marie). Outsourcing manufacturing, however, encourages dependence on the outsourcing partner (Marie, 2010). This is a disadvantage on the side of the
