Objectives run the business model while relationships run family model. In business, the leader fixes the vision and direction; but in the family, the congregation fixes the vision and the leader serves as a catalyst and conductor to achieve the set vision. In business, the pastor is the CEO; but in the family the pastor is the Shepherd. In business, organizational plans determine policies and procedures; but in family, relationships determine policies and procedures. Success is calculated in business through programs and growth; success is calculated in family through stability and unity. Decisions are taken by a few in a business and by the congregation in a family. In business, the budget directs the decisions; in the family model decisions influence the budget. Groups function separately in a business but in a family groups function interdependently. (Business vs. Family Model of Leadership: Understanding the leadership paradigm in the small church)
Conclusions:
Through the above paragraphs, we got an overview of the philosophy of Ministry, discipleship, leadership, great commission and paradigms with regard to small churches. Propagating the system through the people is the essence of the New Beginnings. As mobilization spreads among people, ministers stop competing and start helping each other. Ministers and disciples replicate the procedure to reach out to the people. This leads to enthusiasm and ministries start growing. This mobilization removes the darkness and takes us near to God and God's glory will come to the people of earth. (New Beginnings)
