During this internship, I assisted professors at Florida State University London Study Center with their research. Here, I benefited from the experience of conducting research outside of the United States, and also benefited from exposure to the rigors of academic research at an international level.
After this internship, I secured a job as a media specialist at a high school. This position allowed me an unexpected first-hand exposure to the world of education. The economics teacher fell ill the last half of the school year, and I was subsequently recruited to teach Economics and American Government to seniors.
