¶ … Personal Experience that Changed My Life
Years ago, when I first came to the United States, I knew instantly that this trip would change my life forever. I was visiting my father in Manhattan, and was introduced to my American family for the first time. The experience of seeing them in this wonderful city was magical. I had always wanted to visit the United States and finally, here I was in the business capital, not only of the United States, but of the western world. The impact would stay with me long after my visit was over, and would shape my thinking in the years to come.
Since that time, I have had one goal; that of someday having the privilege of being able to study and work in this amazing country. I have completed two years of work at the Universite Dauphine with the hope of being able to study in a marketing program with the stature of the Georgetown University School of Business. I want to be close to the cutting-edge of global marketing developments. My career goal is to be able to make a contribution in the field of marketing, and I believe that studying at the Business School will best prepare me for that goal.
I am known as a person who sets very high standards, and approaches his work with a vigorous and enthusiastic eye to the future, so, when I researched American universities, to determine where I should go in order to gain hands-on expertise in advertising, branding, and in acquiring the tools to conduct independent research into consumer and corporate behavior and trends, Georgetown University was at the top of the list.
I deeply appreciate the opportunity to apply for undergraduate admission to your fine university, and I thank you very kindly in advance for your courtesy. I am French, living in Paris, but I think it is a fortuitous time for me to transfer to an American university. Georgetown University has a reputation as an institution that does not exist as a walled-off enclave, but as an integral part of the community of cultural, intellectual and creative experiences. In conclusion, I would like to say that I believe I can make a positive contribution to the community within and surrounding your campus, in whatever way my talents and neighborhood needs coincide.
Personal Opinion, Real Life Experiences: Memory Memory is self-sustaining and an extremely complex mechanism that allows us to store, remember and extract information that we had put in our minds at some time. Individuals build their personality based on the memories they have. It is impressive to think about how our memory is built and how it works (Myers 33). History has been the contested terrain established by a collection of individual
Change is a concept that is sometimes welcomed, though generally, is feared by most people. It marks the beginning of a new experience, but it also means the abolition of a routine. It is a concept perceived positively and negatively. However, in my experience, change is a common occurrence, a constant that never ceases to disturb me, yet this disturbance is also the reason why I believe I have developed
Scientifically, this might not really be 'thought' as it is likely that researchers would say it is simply rote memorization and a repeat behavior that has taught this animal what specific sounds coming from his owner require of him so that he can react a certain way. By so doing, he knows that there is an end result - a reward - that he will receive, and so he goes
Personal Philosophy My life is no doubt different from 99.9% of the rest of the American nation, and I'm not talking about the "occupy" movement. The occupy people are saying that only 1% of the population has the money and the power and the rest of us -- 99% of America -- are left with the crumbs. They have their point but my philosophy isn't directed against Wall Street per

Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" By Mark Twain Renowned author, Mark Twain, was brought up in the then-slave state of Missouri. His writings reflect his exposure to the barbaric institution known as slavery, in his formative years.
