Others might be more experienced than I am but few people are as passionate. In fact, it is because I am young that I am the best person for this job. I am eager to learn, excited to see how my education applies to the real world, and enthusiastic about meeting like-minded people in my chosen profession. My being flexible means that I am willing to work in a variety of different roles. However, I really shine when I am allowed to be a leader and direct groups of people. If other candidates are also students, I would say also that there are few people my age who can handle the job pressures I can. Throughout my life I have demonstrated a remarkable capacity for handling stress. In situations where most people either go crazy or give up, I rise to the occasion.

In what area of your work do you think you can be more effective?

I believe I could learn to become more organized. Even on the most basic level like keeping my desk neat, I could use a lot of improvement. I have never made any serious mistakes because of being disorganized but I don't want to fall into bad habits so early in my career. What I would like to do is take a course in time management and organizational skills. That way I can learn practical techniques that will become helpful throughout my life, not just in the workplace but as home as well. For example, I want to learn the best ways to use technology to organize my life. Right now I have phone numbers stored in my mobile phone, in my PDA, my laptop, and in a handwritten book at home. I need to consolidate all my information and access it in an organized and efficient manner.
