Mind I May Not Be Perfect, But Essay

Mind I may not be perfect, but I am comfortable and content in my own mind. Being comfortable with one's thoughts is the most important feature of inner peace. Struggling with thoughts brings about anxiety, unrest, and discontent. When we are able to accept feelings such as anger, resentment, self-pity, sadness, or discomfort, and allow those feelings to exist without judgment, we can become content and reach a state of mind that makes happiness and creativity possible.

Reaching the state of contentment with one's own mind and thoughts is not always easy. Sometimes it requires stepping outside the box, and acting, thinking, believing, and speaking in ways that are different from the norm. We need to express ourselves fully in the moment in order to be truly content. When we repress our thoughts and feelings, we create knots in our consciousness. These knots lead to anger and anxiety, or passive-aggressive behavior....

It is preferable and more constructive to act in ways that truly reflect how we feel. Sometimes, we are surprised that when we do express our thoughts, other people respond better than if we repress them. The leaders, movers, and shakers of the world are those who are unafraid of total self-expression and creativity. They are unafraid of what others think. It is alright not to be liked, so long as we are following our inner guidance. Following inner guidance leads to inner peace and satisfaction.
When I wake up in the morning, I sometimes feel tired and uninterested in going about my daily affairs. Then, I remember all the things I am grateful for and switch my attention to focus on positive things. Doing this changes my mind and transforms my consciousness. It does not matter that I prefer to have a cup of coffee before talking to someone, and I accept the fact that I can be grumpy. What matters most is…
