The include checking blood pressure as dietary observance and history. There are also a number of warning signs that should be monitored. These include: Sudden weakness or numbness of the face, arm or leg -- especially on one side of the body; Sudden confusion or trouble speaking; Sudden dizziness, loss of balance and coordination or trouble walking; Sudden difficulty seeing with one or both eyes; Sudden severe headache without a known cause." 5. Conclusion

While there is no direct and exact correlation between stroke and migraine there are sufficient studies that have been undertaken to show that there is evidence to assume a link between these two ailments, especially among women. Studies have also found that among the many variables, women between 35 and 49 years of age are most vulnerable to migraine-related strokes. While this connection depends on many factors - and is not always true - the realization of this correlation can act as cautionary knowledge that can be used in the treatment of incipient stroke victims.
