My friends, we are now facing difficult times during which our most basic rights are violated by a government that claims to employ modern attitudes in regard to Mexican citizens. How many of you can honestly say that you have not been persecuted by the authorities in the last few years? How many of you can say that they are living in a country that provides them with all the freedom that they need? There is no telling what will be next, considering that the government keeps on destroying our ideals knowing that it cannot be hurt. Let us prove it wrong, and let us demonstrate that it can no longer play with our minds as if it owns this country. We are the majority and we are entitled to implementing the policies that we want. We cannot stand aside as they continue to exploit us and our country's resources.

Some of you might be inclined to gain a wrong understanding regarding our goals and our thinking. We do not want to impose our opinions on you on your children. We simply want a democratic government that allows each individual to be free and to do anything that he or she wants as long as their behavior is based on morality. Our forces are surely outnumbered, but we compensate through our passion and through the fact that our enemies are mainly fueled by their need for profits and power. We do not want power: we use power to complete our campaigns.

Many of you are hesitant about joining an army that emerges from a subculture and many of you are probable to feel little interest in going to war against the government because of the risks involved in such a mission. Well, I say that you are practically denying your history, your blood, and your ideals through your attitude. Come with us and increase our children's chances to experience better conditions than we did. Come with us and get the opportunity to have things work in accordance with your desires for once in your life. Stop encouraging them to take advantage of our weakness and accept the fact that you too can go against your oppressors! Stop agreeing to the belief regarding how your government controls you! You are responsible for your fate and for the fate of those close to you!

The fact that we have to fight our government does not mean that our main purpose is related to aggression. Its pressure makes it impossible for us to function normally, as the authorities are unwilling to allow us to exist as a body. It is very probable that they consider us a threat for the well-being of those in power of the country. They attempt to have people understand that we are actually the ones who want to harm you with the purpose of having you actively engaged in being against us. Not only do we recognize our power as citizens of this country, but we actually encourage you to stand against us if you feel that this is what you have to do. We, in contrast to the government, acknowledge your power and your rights and do not want to perform any kind of action that is in disagreement with the concept of freedom.
