In regards to Intermediaries in the insurance industry it is stated that the IARB provided statistics of November 30, 2001, shows that there were 396 insurance brokers in Hong Kong that were authorized in Hong Kong and that 2,937 individuals registered as chief executives/technical representatives of the authorized brokers.
