The five components of magnetism include: organizational structure, management style, the quality of care, consultation / resources and autonomy. The organizational structure is looking at underlying amounts of bureaucracy and its ability to respond to new challenges. The management style is studying the approach that is used and the way the leadership is able to connect with everyone. The quality of care is focusing on safety and doing more for patients. Consultation and resources are when everyone is working together and receives the proper amount of support. Autonomy occurs with everybody acting and thinking creatively. Each one of these areas is critical in defining the healthcare environment and the way professionals are able to meet the needs of stakeholders.

To connect with everyone on a larger level requires using key concepts in conjunction with each other via (the concept map). In the case of magnetism, these ideas are used to transform how everyone interacts with each other to achieve critical objectives. This is occurring by using flexibility and empowering everyone to do more. For example, Watson's Theory of Human Caring is concentrating on how to improve quality. This is accomplished by looking at number of in conjunction with each other. The most notable include: practicing kindness, cultivating spiritual practices, being supportive, teaching, creating a healing environment, assisting with basic needs and allowing for open miracles to occur. (Watson, 2011)
In this situation, the theory is a motto for everyone to follow. This requires monitoring the patient's condition, alleviating suffering and educating everyone. These insights are showing how this model can change the culture and the attitude of staff member inside the hospital. From an ethical and legal perspective, this will ensure that there are greater amounts of professionalism by having various safeguards in place.
