Macroeconomic Analysis And Comparative Stock Research Paper

The New York Stock Exchange and the Brazilian Exchange are both companies created as a result of mergers between two other entities, namely Sao Paolo Stock Exchange and the Brazilian Mercantile and Futures Exchange in the case of BM&F Bovespa and the NYSE Group and Euronext N.V. In the case of the New York Stock Exchange. The Mexican Stock Exchange however is a public institution.

The three institutions serve similar functions, yet the differences reside in the areas they serve, the volume of traded shares, the number of investors and other indices which show the differences in size and strength between NYSE and the two other markets.

All in all, the current project has assessed two important international aspects, namely the resolutions of the G20 Summit of Los Cabos and the international stock exchange markets. At the level of the G20, emphasis has been placed on the impact of the summit conclusions upon the United States of America. The findings indicate that the G20 has focused mostly on the economic crisis and the creation of a more sustainable economic environment in which the crisis can be solved.

Discussions were held around European issue and the United States was expected to revive and stimulate the revival of other states as well. Little emphasis was however placed on health care, fossil fuels and women in entrepreneurship,...

The findings indicated that the New York Stock Exchange was the largest one, trading the most stocks and the highest volumes of money. Still, aside from the growth variables, the three institutions are similar as they serve similar functions, yet in different global areas and to diverse extents.
