To empower the project to not let these students down, the team has reached out to Webb County employers through a cooperative agreement with local workforce providers. This ensures a reliable and continual source for employment, through the professional monitoring of open and available jobs in the area. For those students who wish to continue pursuing their education, the team has also reached out to Ladero Community College to create a strategic relationship which would help students gain access to further schooling. By constantly evaluating where the students stand during the eight-month tenure of the project, we are giving the students a voice which will then help us alter or change certain aspects of the project which prove most unfavorable to the success of the student. The key is to get as many participants to succeed in their goals as possible, which means keeping a fluid agenda ready for change as necessary to get them their G.E.D. And prepare for life after high school. The pretest will give us an established-based with which to work, while the middle evaluation will help give clues on any potential alterations to keep students on track. Finally, the posttest will give real results which can then be uses to sustain the positive impact of the project on the lives of the participants involved. It is this ability to fluidly adapt to the students needs which ensures the future success of the project itself.
