Love Vs. Infatuation Many People Essay

There is no reason for a person falling in love with another person. Love comes with mixed feelings of emotions, intellect, and attraction. Infatuation gives a feeling of being in love by starting with physical attraction to a person. The feeling of being in love is intense, but it is pure like love. Love is a quiet, mature acceptance and understanding of a person's imperfection. When in love, a person has a connection with the other person's soul. This connection goes beyond the self. If the other person does not react in the same way as the infatuated person, the other person becomes jealous. When one is infatuated they only think of them self, it leads to feelings of lust. Separation causes great pain in both emotions. Time apart between two souls that are truly in love strengthens the love they share for each other....

Infatuation gets weak with separation and the feeling fades. There are few cases where infatuation has led to lifelong commitment or to any commitment at all. True love leads two people to developing of a life long bond between each other. Love will induce a feeling of commitment towards another person, but infatuation does not induce this feeling.
Infatuation is mostly associated with adolescents and teenagers. Love has no age associated with it, though anyone under 18 is said to be having puppy love. Anyone can fall or be in love no matter their age. Infatuation leads to serious consequences because of the choices one makes some of the consequences include emptiness, loneliness, divorce, increased rates of VD, and broken homes. Love results in peace, security, nice atmosphere to raise children, and a stable society.
