¶ … international student who has lived in the United States for two years. My first year in the States was spent at ESL school, during which I learned how to speak, read, and write English. Although I still have some difficulty with the language and am not yet fluent, I look forward to improving my English skills as I stay in the country. I have been attending junior college for the past year, and have enjoyed a rich and dynamic social life. I enjoy my classes and the people at my school, but I am ready for a change. I would like to pursue different curriculum than that offered at my junior college. My time at junior college prepared me for the challenges of an education in a second language. However, I now wish to transfer to Northeastern University to focus more on computer science.
Nowadays, the mastery of new technology is important for businesses and all matters in life. Information technologies offer the most rewarding and exciting career prospects, and computer science is also a field I enjoy.
