Humor Life Is Filled With Essay

Off-course, not every manager would be as kind, but, considering the tension that I had in me as he was heading my direction and the relief that he created, I believe that his humor had been the best I've heard in years. Consequent to getting a new job at the place where I work, a friend of mine was bragging on about how he was lucky that he lasted here for more than a month. Moreover, he told me that he had a feeling that the economy was improving and that the crisis would soon be over. He told me that the reason for this had been that he asked the manager whether he was going to fire him or not and the latter said that the crisis is over and that he can stay at the present workplace as long as another crisis doesn't come up. Both my manager and my friend have a sense of humor, and, accordingly, they get along well and even create such hilarious situations.

I should actually consider myself lucky to work in a nice environment with a good manager, considering the fact that my last job has been a total nightmare. As you well know, not all people end up having a nice job with a nice social group.

I have heard about a girl that had to go through a living hell working for a big firm. Because she received good money for her work, she was not willing to quit her job, nor did she have the courage to take action against her supervisor consequent to receiving heavy insults from him. The supervisor had been constantly teasing the girl in reference to her supermodel looks, and, moreover, I heard that he used to tell her a lot of vulgar jokes. Finally, after she decided she could not take the stress anymore, she went to the head manager and reported her supervisor. Consequent to her action, the supervisor was penalized and everything apparently went back to normal. Such incidents are very common around the world, and, people are...

In most cases, people are reluctant to take action against their supervisors in fear that they would accomplish nothing besides a penalty for themselves.
It is sad that such things happen in the modern world, when people claim to be civilized and educated. Considering the fact that one presumably requires to have certain qualities and a good education to become a supervisor for a big firm, it would be least expected that that particular person can display such a behavior toward his subordinates.

All in all, good humor is the best weapon to fight stressful situations and to lead a good life. Like Ella Wheeler Wilcox said: "LAUGH, and the world laughs with you;

Weep, and you weep alone."
