Its style has always been innovative in spite of the fact that music trends changed during recent years.

The fact that Daft Punk managed to maintain their reputation and that they managed to gather more and more fans makes it possible for someone to understand that they are not part of a trend. They are the kind of musicians who will always be appreciated by a wide range of individuals, regardless of their age or background.

Adele is certainly one of the most enjoyed musicians in the present and in spite of her relatively young age she managed to capture the attention of the whole world through inducing intense feelings in her listeners. This artist practically manages to create a connection with her listeners and enables them to gain a more complex understanding of her singing. The way she emphasizes particular words puts across the feelings that she apparently wants to express through her songs.

Even with the fact that many are likely to consider Adele to be a passing celebrity, it is very likely that she will maintain her status through the years. Surely, it would be absurd to claim that she is not concerned about her image and about the commercial aspect of her singing. However, she puts across a sort of sincerity that is appealing to most people and that is one of the main reasons why she is likely to be appreciated for decades to come.

Rihanna is certainly a controversial individual and she appears to be well-acquainted with what sells in the present. While Lady Gaga is certainly interesting, it seems that she is taking things too far and that her artistic style goes beyond music and into other spheres of influence. In contrast, Rihanna actually focuses on music in addition to selling an image involving sex, violence, rebellion, and glamour. She practically appears to be the embodiment of the early twenty-first century, taking into account that this time period has been all about return of retro attitudes while embracing open minded and even exaggerated thinking.

One needs to keep in mind that it would be wrong to compare artists that are likely to enter the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, as they have each come up with a unique style and have provided society with a series of characteristics that no one else was managed to put across. This is why individuals like Rihanna are likely to get there, she virtually created a counter-culture.
