Patients were also interviewed during the rounding to get their feedback. The results showed that rounding made a significant difference in the patients and nurses satisfaction. 4P program was also used in this study as it was used in last studies. It was also reported that patients used less call lights less than before and only for serious needs. Patient's complaints regarding staff also decreased to 43% during these two quarters.

Conclusion

Health care including Nursing are very sensitive issues and any conclusions made in this field have impact on the lives of people. Therefore it is not convenient at all to reach to conclusion only by analyzing five articles that the nurse rounding definitely have a positive effect on patient satisfaction, call bell elimination and patient fall. However most of the articles favored the point that nurse rounding does help in solving problems of patients before time. Nurses also get enough time to concentrate on patient care and understand their problems.

Secondly, at this level of knowledge, it is not possible to evaluate if the methodology and instruments used by the researchers in these articles were appropriate for these studies and thirdly, all the studies had very limited number of sample size. There is already very limited...

Therefore, it is not wise to reach to conclusions. This issue needs comprehensive research in order to reach to definite conclusions.
