Letter to Condo Board
This letter is in reference to the recent violations of the front desk man. The front desk man has been on the job for 8 months and we members of the community have all gotten to know and like him. He holds the door open for us when we come and go, is always polite and helpful, and does his utmost to put a smile on people's faces. For this, we are appreciative. A friendly and helping front door man is all one can hope to ask for -- and he fits the bill.
The minor violations for which he has recently come under fire by the board (and for which we fear he may lose his job) are indeed of such an insignificant and trifling nature that we find ourselves utterly upset at the thought that such a kind, helpful front desk man could be deemed incompatible with the position based on such transgressions. Allow me to list them for the board:
First, our front desk man is in violation of watching a resident's dog for a few minutes in the lobby. While this may be against the rules, it is hardly an offense for which one should be forced to lose his employment. Consider that there may have been a very good reason for his watching the dog in the first place and that it is not a customary action but rather one in which a Samaritan is helping a friend in need. Does this deserve severe punishment or rather appreciation and respect?
Second, he is in violation of taking home a key fob. May we point out that this too is hardly deserving...
Economics There is a belief, common to economists, that government intervention is necessary to assist economic growth. The current belief that the reason that the economy is faltering is that job growth has faltered, has not altered this perception, even though it probably should have. Recently both the Bush and Obama administrations have tried many different means of stimulating the economy (much as Franklin Delano Roosevelt did during the "Great Depression"),

Her ability to troubleshoot Microsoft software products has come in handy many times. Lauren is a speedy worker and performs all the basic office duties such as photocopying and filing with aplomb. We have not noticed any misfiled documents since her arrival. She writes
44). Clearly, human resources has to be closely involved in this decision and the intervention, because there are so many legal implications for the company. If handled poorly, Katharina has numerous grounds to sue this global organization, and that could be disastrous to the company's reputation and bottom line. This situation indicates the need for specific human resource planning, and how it is imperative for an organization to develop

A photograph could be photoshopped or a statement taken out of context. There are also significant ethical concerns with the use of the Internet to gather information about potential candidates. Children are always perplexed when bad things happen to good people. "Mommy, why did Jerry get hit by a car? Why did daddy lose his job? Why did you get cancer?" When bad things happen to good people, we risk losing our faith in God, in the goodness of the world, and in our own power to create positive change. The Biblical story of Job is one of the most
Social Work Exercise The imaginary recording helped me to examine the language that I use commonly, and listen for embedded biases. I noticed that I assumed that the client could hear me and see me, rather than acknowledge the fact that the client could be deaf or visually impaired. It might be helpful to establish immediately whether the client requires assistive technologies when understanding the types of services we provide. I also
