To make this decision I used mostly my intuition as it guided me towards this answer. Its simple and the research suggests it can be effectively and economically put into place.

This intervention is superior because it does not exist in the current school's system. Its superiority is measured by the amount of effort that is being placed in the intervention.

This intervention will draw upon selected members of the school's faculty extra time. This task force may need to replenish this resource.

Executive Summary

The purpose of this proposal is to inform you about the efforts that our school is making to help achieve new levels of success. We are looking to help bring the school and community together in an effort to raise ideas and concerns that the leadership may advance on the students. We are seeking to create a task force that specifically addresses these issues.

Need Statement

The relationship between community and school is important and can help bring about significant change when these forces are brought together in unity. Our school is seeking to create a task force to last one year to conduct research upon the ways that local community and the school may fuse their resources together in order to improve student achievement.

The idea is to bring community leaders and school leaders together to find common ground and raise issues where their cooperation may be most beneficial for the entire environment. This collaboration is intended to bring up issues that aim to diversify and educate our cultures towards one another and take a new approach no learning and education.

Goals and Objectives

The goal of this task force creation is to set an example for community leadership to follow and improve student achievement. The task force will meet once a week and set its own agenda that addresses the issues and needs it has determined that can best draw the energy of the community together in a novel and positive manner.

Methods, Strategies or Program Design

The task force will consist of the principal of the school and selected faculty members of who are closely related to the Hispanic culture of both the school and the local community. Local business people, the city council member representative, the school board representative and other interested parties are designed to be on this task force. The group itself is not looking for anything specific at first, as this is more of a learning expedition to find out root causes of failure.
