The specific course for which admission is being sought in this case is an MBA program. Why I am Applying for Admission to the MBA Program at UCF
From the onset, please allow me to note that there are many reasons as to why I would like to undertake my graduate studies at the University of Central Florida (UCF). But herein, as a result of space constraints, I will address only a few of these reasons. To begin with, it is natural for one to look forward to being associated with the best. It is only through associating with the best that we also become the best. In my opinion, UCF remains one of the best institutions not only in Florida but also across the nation from which one can undertake a graduate business program. This is more so the case given that the institution was in the year 2009 included in a list of some of the best business schools by a Princeton Review publication by virtue of its MBA program being one of the most well administered across the nation. I am convinced that if granted admission to your institution, I will in addition to associating with a world-class team of staff, faculty as well as administrators also get a rare opportunity to interact meaningfully with fellow students in an enabling environment. This will provide me with the much needed boost for the advancement of my goals, dreams and aspirations.
Further, given the fact that the various graduate programs offered by the university have the AACSB International accreditation, undertaking my MBA at UCF will be a plus as far as my professional capabilities are concerned. This is more so the case given that such an accreditation is advanced to only those business schools that have in place standards strict enough to guarantee quality. In that regard, a UCF MBA will give me that competitive edge I badly desire to succeed in a highly competitive marketplace.
I am also convinced that given an opportunity to pursue the MBA program at your institution, I will be able to make unique contributions towards the betterment of UCF most specifically as a student and later on as an alumnus. As an MBA student at UCF, I will be able to fully exploit my abilities as well as desire to learn given the institution's motivated and exiting learning environment. I consider myself sociable, focused, dedicated and full of meaningful life experiences. Thus if admitted at UCF, I will have an opportunity of sharing these traits and experiences both with my peers in the classroom and with the entire community of UCF.
Further, it is important to note that in the past, UCF has produced quite a number of notable graduates who have in one way or the other often left an indelible mark in whatever field they choose to be in. Some notable alumni of UCF are today successful managers, entrepreneurs as well as professionals in their own right. Others like Dick Batchelor and Bruce Antone, both of whom at one point served as Florida's State Representatives, have held senior public offices. By seeking to undertake a graduate program at UCF; I will be looking forward to joining the ever expanding list of notable UCF graduates. Also, as an alumnus of UCF, I will in addition to flying the institution's flag high also have a chance to excel in the various facets of life given the skills I will have gleaned from a world-class team of staff, faculty as well as administrators at UCF.
