Gay Stance Against Obama
Relationships between people of the same gender have become a subject more and more common during the last years. Most gay voters for the presidential elections tend to be influenced in their voting by the candidate's opinion concerning gay people. In the case of the newly elected U.S. president, Barack Obama, the gay community has had some abstentions from choosing to vote with him.
During his campaign, president Obama has stated that he supported gay people and gay marriages and most people felt that his position on the topic would bring the gay community on his side. However, the gay community seemed to refrain from giving their votes to Obama. The occurrence is believed to be mainly because of the fact that Obama had used several notorious anti-gay persons to campaign for him in some parts of the country.
Reverend Donnie McClurkin is one of the most controversial people that Obama had hired to represent him. McClurkin had claimed that he is acquainted with the gay issue as he, himself, had been a homosexual. Apparently, McClurkin's sexual preferences had been determined by the fact that he had been raped as a child. Subsequent to his homosexual life, McClurkin had chosen to follow the path of the church, which, he claims, had cleansed him of his "unnatural" behavior. During a recent speech, McClurkin had declared that he does not agree with homosexuality and that the act is a very perverted. (Keith Boykin)
Apart from hiring anti-gay people to run his campaigns, Obama has stated during an interview that he did not directly agree to a marriage between two persons of the same sex. Despite that, he also stated that he does not wish to interfere with people's preferences, as that would mean that he would also interfere with the concept of an American life.

We can see that minority status has far less to do with population size, and instead seems very much to be inclined by race, ethnicity and political power instead. This label of minority status is in many ways used as a tag by which certain groups are detained from political unity or effectiveness. To a large degree, this is a condition which relates to the nature of the Hispanic demographic,
A candidate is "dumb" or, possibly, "dumber" than his opponent. The assassination of a Basque politician by the Basque separatist group ETA on the very eve of the election, March 7th, threatened to again confound public opinion of the relative merits of the two major candidates. Ramon Cotarelo, a professor of political science at Madrid's Complutense University opined that public sympathy could swing to Zapatero because the assassinated man was
Feminism today is especially being guided by the Feminists of old, prominent leaders of the past who continue to forge the path ahead for the modern women's movement: these are leaders like Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the Supreme Court and Gloria Steinhem of Women's Media Center. Many other prominent figures represent Feminism today and are actively working towards the advocacy of women's rights in social, political, economic, and religious spectrums.
The West may even become addicted to you and your PLO (Pacepa 1987, 25) The above conversation occurred in the early Carter administration, although the Romanian dictator first began advising and consorting with Arafat in 1972 (ibid, 37). Ceau-escu was not a prophet. Rather, he was just a shrewd dictatorial leader who knew how to use image, propaganda and the repetition of the same information over and over again until
