From the Classical Antiquity to the modernism era, people developed an attitude that keeps certain groups of painters making a name through the themes they apply in their paintings. Therefore, the grapes and wine theme is already in deep roots within the basis of sales possible. Every painting that applies the use of the grapes and wines theme receives significant support and acceptance within the society; hence, the reason it has such wide application by the classical antique and modernism-painting activists.

Why the modern artists have been continuing to use themes particularly from Classical antiquity and from this image of the satyr holding grapes?

The image by satyr holding grapes gives the grapes an image of them being a precious present, fruit to hold and eat. The painting of satyr holding the fruits presents a wonderful image that has godliness in the power of the painting. Therefore, it is because of the brand image and the name that the use of the themes by several other painters causes the modern artists to continue placing the practice of the use of the two main themes. Modern artists realize the connection between the ancient and ancestors painting times to the current and recent times of painting. They see the connection between the themes of grapes and the satyr holding grapes and the present development of the project presentations.

The works of many artists produced before, when reproduced by the current artists indicates the relation between these two ages in the painting field.
