¶ … Alice King, the undisputed Queen of luxury wedding planning. Her ability to transform visions into reality is unparalleled because she has access to a wealth of otherwise unattainable venues that offer the bride, groom, and their special guests an event to remember. King draws her taste and inspiration from a rich heritage in haute couture, bestowed by her mother, the designer Catherine King. Since she was young enough to be a flower girl, Alice King has been attending exclusive wedding parties around the world. Now it is her turn to shine. The Alice King agency plans weddings in Paris, Rome, Cote d'Azur, and similar locations that provide the ideal levels of privacy and exclusivity.
Background
Alice is the second child of Catherine and Louis King, prominent art collectors. Her mother Catherine solidified her brand in couture through Parisian fashion houses, and Catherine grew up surrounded by the elite men and women who wore King's designs to weddings and parties in London and on the continent. Catherine's father Louis served as a barrister before retiring to their family estate in 2014.
While studying at Cambridge, Catherine helped several of her classmates plan their weddings. Party planning was initially something Catherine did just for fun, but after graduating with a degree in political science, Catherine decided to start her own business. With clients she had met through her Cambridge connections and through her family, Catherine established a solid reputation and soon opened an office in London under the Alice King name, whist working for ten years at the Edelman PR firm.
The Main Event
Understanding the increased demand for unique weddings and particularly destination affairs, Catherine decided to shift her focus from smaller London-based events to the more elaborate affairs she now organizes down to the last detail. Her network of associates includes the finest chefs in the catering business, including the owners of restaurants in London and Paris. In addition to being able to provide her clients with the most memorable wedding feast...
