Ehl International Hospitality Program Is for Me

EHL International Hospitality program is for me the perfect opportunity to use my assets and talents. I will briefly describe some of them in the lines here below and discuss a little why EHL would make an excellent choice in selecting me for the EHL community.

A currently live in an ever expanding market, with enormous future possibilities for the tourism industry. Indeed, Russia has a large population, encouraging economic prospects and a cultural heritage that makes a trip to Russia worthwhile. However, Russia is no longer prepared for this challenge. There is a shortage of hotels and specialists in the tourism industry and a high demand for well trained personnel. I believe that I could be one of the well prepared specialists that could work in the Russian tourism and hotel industry and the EHL program could be a huge step forward in achieving my goal.

There are many qualities I have that would make me an excellent candidate for this program. First of all, this is not only a career related issue, for me it is also a passion. Indeed, I love traveling and the travel industry and, as such, everything I do is done with passion and dedication. I have traveled to many countries, but I am always eager to have new experiences, to visit new places and meet new people.

People have always told me I have a great leadership potential and who am I to argue with them. Leadership means not only an ability in dealing with people, but also the capacity to make the right decisions and the right moment and I believe I have that ability. Life has given me several opportunities to prove that I can quickly analyze the facts and that I am able to make the right decision and implement it afterwards in optimal conditions.

This brings me to my analytical and critical thinking and to my problem solving skills. Making and implementing the right decisions means that first you can analyze the facts, interpret them and draw the right conclusion. I believe that I can do all these efficiently. Additionally, my good communication skills and my foreign languages abilities (I speak Russian and English fluently and intend to improve my Spanish and Italian, as well as to learn French) help me work just as well in a group or individually.

Mentioning the foreign languages that I speak means that I can now discuss the ways in which I can contribute to the EHL community. Two words: Russian market. The fact that I speak fluent English and Russian means that I can be an excellent connection into the Russian travel industry and travel market. My knowledge of Russia, including things like tradition, cultural heritage and the Russian history, the fact that I am a native is an indication that I would be an excellent asset in approaching the enormous Russian market.
