Determinants Of Physical Health Term Paper

Optimism Many people discount the correlation and connection between optimism and general good health. Further, many people wrongly equate spirituality with religion. Indeed, spirituality is often strongly correlated or related to religion but that relationship is not absolute and present in all people that are technically spiritual. With those thoughts in mind, the author of this report shall explain some aspects of spirituality on both a professional and personal level. There will also be a linkage drawn between the optimistic determinants of health as learned from the facets of learned optimism as well as how spiritual bankruptcy or dormancy can be changed into a hunger for spirituality and better living. While some people are very resistant to religion and spirituality, there are benefits for everyone and this would even include people like atheists and agnostics.

In looking at the world today and what is happening, it is not hard to get discouraged and pessimistic about the moral fiber (or lack thereof) of our leaders or even our fellow men and women. Further, those that surround themselves with negative energy and/or that shelter and recuse themselves from positive...

On the other hand, even the most realistic among us realized that there is still a lot of good being done and a lot of good that can still yet be done presuming that the people of our society get out of their proverbial funks and get to doing good for themselves and others.
When it comes to professional situations, there are a good amount of customers that are snippy, demanding and irritable. However, the wise among us must realize that we have no way of knowing what has led to them being grouchy and there are perhaps some real problems not of htat person's making that are aggravating their life and situation. A little kindness and empathy can go a long way to assure a griping customer that someone does care about their feelings and what they need done. Personal lives are no different. There is something to be said for avoiding people that are despondent and negative because being around such people does indeed grate on people over time.
