¶ … policy proposal addressing the smoking ban in restaurants and bars in Denver. The arguments as well as suggestions will be presented in three main parts: Smoking has been one of the most controversial topics in Denver because the authorities of the government are in the opinion of banning smoking in restaurants and bars but they also need opinions and advices from the people living in Denver. Based on their suggestions and advices the authorities would take any action related to their idea of banning smoking especially in restaurants and bars.

This decision of the government authorities has been generated from the facts that the smokers have polluted the environments of restaurants and bars and the people who are non-smokers, ultimately suffers because of those who smoke in the bars and restaurants. Employees in bars and restaurant run a much greater risk of cancer-related illnesses than those in other occupations."...

It has also been noted that the employees working in the restaurants and bars are badly affected from the smoke which they inhale while they work. It is the responsibility of the government authorities to provide these employees with a safe and considerable working environment. There are many aspects of this problem and one of the aspects is that the rate of customers has been decreased because of the habit of smokers and thus the restaurants and ban owners suffer a lot. The customers are badly disturbed because of the smoke, which spreads in the environment, and they are not ready to bring their children to such restaurants where smoking is not banned. Hence, the revenue of the restaurants and bars is directly affected.

2) PROPOSAL FOR A SOLUTION:

The analysis and consideration of the problem states that an effective proposal for solution is needed so that the higher authorities of the state can visualize the proposal plan and can act accordingly. The solution is that the authorities should create a smoke free environment in order to remove all discomforts. The restaurants and bars owners should make surveys and researches and should include the opinions of their customers so that they can feel that…
