Vision
Vision validation is portrayed using a triangle whose points represent judgment, intuition and action with the center having collective experiences of the team. These four concepts come handy in validating the firm's vision "…to pursue excellence in the field of arboriculture, and to be of utmost service to our customers & #8230;" The firm's judgment relies upon past experiences in managing initiatives like the new venture they are intending to form. The founders have led vision creation exercises in the past, thus used good judgment in formulating the vision (Abell, 1978). The firm's vision is acceptable to all customers, potential investors, as well as employees. Intuition is essential for the firm in understanding consequences of any decision made concerning business activities. Intuition gives the firm insight whether the business is growing at the right pace in realization of the vision. Based on the notion that the vision is actionable, it can be acted upon in combination with both intuition and judgment. Past experiences including successes are handy in validating the vision; they are learning points for the firm in making better decisions and strategies for growing the organization.
