" (Y-Jesus, 2007) in fact approximately one-fourth of women during that time were named Mary and Joseph was a common name also. One of every ten men were named Jesua. The work entitled: "Mona Lisa's Smirk: The Truth Behind the Da Vinci Conspiracy" states that the Da Vinci code states: "Nobody is saying Christ was a fraud, or denying that he walked the earth and inspired millions to better lives. All we are saying is that Constantine took advantage of Christ's substantial influence and so, he shaped the face of Christianity we know today." (Y-Jesus, 2007)
SUMMARY and CONCLUSION
The fact is -- quite simply that no one is absolutely sure of the facts concerning the life of Jesus as the Bible documents Jesus until age 12 and then little is known about Jesus until the time that he begins his ministry. It is certainly conceivable that Jesus could well have married and had children prior to his 'taking on' or 'becoming' the Christ in fullness and in fact the most appropriate life for a devout Jewish man to have lived would have been inclusive of having married and had a family as the Jewish lineage is a very important aspect of the lives of the Jewish people and certainly this was the case during the time in which Jesus lived upon the earth. Digital Fortress I chose Dan Brown's Digital Fortress because it is the type of book that I would normally read and because I find this particular subject interesting. The subject of cyber security is a matter that is/should be important to individuals and governments all over the world. The character I chose to write about is Commander Strathmore because he is not everything he appears to be. He begins the book
A recent article touted the 6.1% growth of spending on medical care in 2007. The same article cautioned however that, "most experts know that no matter what the numbers say, there is still a great deal of work ahead to reform a healthcare system that is still fundamentally broken -- and is facing one of the worst economic recessions in decades" (Lubell, 2009, pg. 6). Government and industry officials have been
Violence in Popular Culture The revenge motivation for violence can be seen in many films and novels, but one of the most clear-cut examples of this motivation -- as well as one of the most violent -- are Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill films. In this two-part movie, a former assassin (Uma Thurman) tracks down her former boss and her remaining colleagues, killing each of them one by one because they had
Humanism in the Renaissance posited that everyone is worthy of an equal chance, and even though peasants were not the socioeconomic equal of the wealthy, peasants were human and deserving of an equal opportunity. Humanism in fact was an attempt "…to resurrect and emulate the literature and art of the ancient Greeks and Romans," Neil Haughton writes in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology. Renaissance painters emphasized the "positive attributes of
In addition, both governments and churches began to grow suspicious of the group, probably because of the "organization's secrecy and liberal religious beliefs" (Watson, 2009). As a result, Portugal and France banned Freemasonry; in fact, it was a capital offense to be a Freemason in Portugal (Watson, 2009). Moreover, "Pope Clement XII forbade Catholics from becoming Freemasons on penalty of excommunication" (Watson, 2009). Feeling pressure in Europe, many Freemasons
